Andrew Dutson
Deputy Director of Music
Andrew was born in Hereford. He attended Belmont Abbey School and Hereford Cathedral School, where he studied organ with Dr Roy Massey.
He then went on to study with David Saint and Nigel Allcoat at Birmingham Conservatoire.
He became Organ Scholar at Lichfield Cathedral in 1991, during this time gaining his ARCO and ABSM diplomas. He graduated in 1992 and continued with postgraduate studies at Reading University.
Andrew has been Assistant Director of Music of Lewisham Choral Society since 1994, and is also Head of the Expressive Arts Faculty at Sydenham High School.
He has given recitals in various British cathedrals and in South Africa, Denmark, France and Belgium.
